Art Classes for Children

We teach children ages 6+

Have a budding artist? We work with children to practice the artistic process: from creative idea to initial sketch, refined sketch, and finished project. Each child works toward his or her own goals and at his or her own pace. A small class size (max 6 students) makes it possible to provide individualized instruction and creates a wonderful “family” atmosphere among the class. Students display their work in an Art Show in the Spring.

Cost is $20 per week, plus the cost of materials. Class is 1 hr/week.

– 1 hour / week starting the week of Sept 17
– Media includes (but is not limited to): pencil, charcoal, colored pencil, pen & ink, watercolor, and acrylic
– Classes available for ages 6-10 or 10-14

Art Classes for Adults

4 week sessions

NEW this fall we are offering two 4-week sessions for adults: Sketching & Intro to Watercolor. These classes are tailored for beginners looking to learn some new skills. Class size is limited to 6.

Cost is $20 per week, plus the cost of materials. Class is 1 hr/week.

Sketching:
Tues 7-8pm, Sept 17 – Oct 8
Cost is $100 and includes all materials.

Intro to Watercolor:
Tues 7-8pm, Oct 22 – Nov 12
Cost is $110 and includes all materials.

Storytime Make & Take

Ages 3-5 +parent

NEW this fall, we will host a monthly Storytime with craft! Parents are invited to attend with their child(ren) ages 3-5. We will have some sensory play, read a story, and create a craft inspired by the book we read!
